Longparish is an attractive village in the Test Valley. The village meanders along the B3048 and is well named. The Cricket Field is in the centre of the village set back from the road. Access is along a track between thatched cottages and The Croft.
Titchborne Park is close to Alresford and near the birth of the River Itchen. The Alresford Show is being held in the grounds of the Estate which is a pleasant venue.
Broadlands, Romsey what a beautiful venue that is on the River Test near Romsey. This is the home of the Mountbattens.
Brockenhurst is in the New Forest and is an attractive place. The New Forest is ancient and unique, a 219 square mile area of National Park. Trees, ponies and deer. Villages are dotted around.
Basingstoke is quite a large and important town in the north east of the county. It is actually an old market town that grew suddenly with overspill from London in the 1960's. It has become a mixture of its old self combined with a very modern town.
Sherfield on Loddon is about six miles north of Basingstoke on the A33. The village has its own Brewery.
